What to include
A support reply is only as fast as the detail in the first message. For anything that isn't behaving, send:
- Your browser and version, and your operating system.
- The extension version, shown at the bottom of its settings page.
- The address that was or wasn't flagged, and the domain on your list it should have been compared against.
- What you expected to happen, and what happened instead.
- A screenshot, if the problem is visible.
Please never send passwords, one-time codes, session cookies or identity documents. We will never ask for them, and no support problem needs them.
A note on email
How you can tell a message is really from us
We only ever write from an address ending in @phishing-protect.com, and only in reply to a message you sent first. We do not send account notices, billing warnings, suspension notices or security alerts, because there are no accounts to notice anything about.
If you receive an email claiming to be from Phishing Protect that asks you to log in somewhere, confirm a payment or download an installer, it did not come from us. Forward it to [email protected] and delete it.
